Our Sisters are deeply indebted to our Mother Foundress, Blessed Maria Teresa of St. Joseph for her courage and perseverance in following through with God`s Holy Will in her regard-in spite of almost insurmountable obstacles. But here we are today...Carmelite Sisters with a contemplative/active charism - fiercely loyal to the Church - and loyal to the special spirit of our Order and to all the beautiful Carmelite Saints that we are so privileged to have. The Beatification of Blessed Maria Teresa of St. Joseph, Foundress of the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus, was held in the Cathedral of Roermond, Netherlands on May 13, 2006.
