Gary Air Show

We went to the beach to enjoy the Gary Air Show that was over the water. All the children had such a great time. We got there just in time to see the practice. The children enjoyed the show but the jets were a bit too loud for their ears. We were there till about five o'clock. We went to get our lunches and then came back for the real show. The show lasted until it became dark. After dark they had fireworks and paratroopers. We all sat along the beach wrapped up in towels as the wind from the lake became cool. The fireworks were much better than the ones we saw on the 4th of July. After the fireworks, we loaded up our blankets and headed home. They were so tired, but we had a wonderful day.
